Plaque and fatty deposits in the arteries can cause blockages, leading to Atherothrombosis.
Eventually these deposits stop the flow of blood through the heart or brain.
A stent is inserted into the artery in question, usually through the lower part of the body.

The stent is then inflated, unblocking the artery, and a wire mesh ensures the blockage doesn't reappear.
The stent is removed and the mesh is left in place, holding open the arterial walls.

This facilitates the normal flow of blood through the artery, restoring health.

Virtuallydone was approached by nowPharma, a startup business specialising in medical information video. They proposed two films, a guide to Atherothrombosis and a guide to Colorectal Cancer, and their treatments. Virtuallydone produced two films of roughly five minutes each in five versions, at DVD and broadcast resolution and at email-sized clip resolution, and in two languages.
During production Virtuallydone turned out various book-covers for nowPharma's publishing ventures.
All three projects were undertaken in two months with an approximate budget of 5,000 pounds.
Extracts from these films can be found on youtube, just click.
